Reset Malfunction Code

I set off two malfunction codes when I reset my seat shortly after getting my SL. How do you reset them to get rid of them?

I think you may have to go to the dealer as they use special equipment to erease messages, from what I have read. I know some error messages need to be done like this, but I am not sure about the minor errors like the seats. SHould only take them 2 minutes anyway.
