Any of my fellow members that knows if you can seperate the inner part liner/part from the outer part of the glove box door?

I need to get the catch/lock back on to the glove compartment door

I was told that the armrest also one part as well, but it sure looks like you can seperate the top part of the armrest from looking at this picture of the armrest to the right
