Aftermarket Command Navigation from Seicane.com
Hi
For information from all of you r230 2001-2004 owners with bose or harmon kardon amplifiers.
I have done some investigation about r230 OEM replacements from Secaine.com.

If you want to use the optical cable to the amplifier that uses the d2b connecor and another protocol (?) you cannot use Seicane.com optical conversion box. There is no altenative as I understand when it comes to OEM replacements. So the only option is then to go for upgrade with new amplifier och optical M.O.S.T cable. I am right here?

on the 03/04 you must change out the amp. there is no reason to buy a MOST amp. just by any old amp you want and wire it in since you are going with an aftermarket unit that can plug into any amp.
