SL/R230: California Earthquake Almost Killed Me?

On my way to our early Saturday morning car meet today and had the scare of my life! I was on the freeway doing about 65-70 mph and all of a sudden the big one hit! At least I thought it was the big one. I felt a little dip on the freeway and the car did a the Rodeo mode! (All four corners wet up and down individually like during a Star test) I freaked out and really thought I was going to die! I pulled over the next exit and did a visual inspection! No leaking fluid anywhere. Checked all 4 corners. The car behaved for another 3 miles of winding roads to the meet. When I got to my parking space it did another cycle and settled back down. Drove the car around for errands for the rest of the day with no further incident. I checked the fluid level in the reservoir with engine off and it was about 1/8 cup low. They entire system was replaced by the original owner about 2 years ago as a preventive measure, so I thought I didn't have to worry about this for awhile. Car just turned 87K and has given me no problems in 10 months I've owned it. Daily driven and meticulously maintained. Going to take it to my independent on Monday and get it hooked up to STAR to see what faults show up. Has this happened to anyone and would like to share? I thought this was a very scary and dangerous issue - at least when I was on the freeway. Thanks
