SL/R230: Changing from D2B to MOST

Changing from D2B to MOST
hi have a japanese import with japanese comand and bose amp. If I change the comand to a euro spec one do I only need to change the fiber optic harness to bose amp or is it more pieces that needs raplaceing?

As long as there are bose logos on your door speakers You should still have the D2b fiber ring with bose amp on your Japan spec car (with the japan-only DVD 02-04 command), that being said I believe if you use a command unit from 2002-2004 euro spec (cd rom, small screen) you should be able to retain your existing bose amp and D2b ring components. You'd only be swapping to MOST with the 05 or newer wide screen DVD commands.
