sl500
hard top stuck down
03 sl 500 top and roll bar will not work, drivers side upper corner of trunk not down all the way.

This could be a bad limit switch such as 118/1. What you might try is gently pressing down on the trunk while operating it int the "open" function. This might trip the switch or put the frame in the proper position too match the switch's reading.
