Any here installed the "facelift" 1 bar chrome grille?
I have been looking at the "facelift" 1 bar chrome grille (see the on the picture below)
Any of my fellow member here at this forum that have installed one? If so is the fit of the grille good and no problems installing this grille?
I sure like the look of this grille much better than the original one that is on my car
I just did this. Bought on eBay from de_motors (which I think is 55tech). It took about 15 minutes, and that's because it took me 5 minutes to get the tools out of the trunk There is a difference between the Distronic version and non-Distronic version so be aware of which one you need.
4 10-mm bolts on top, push the bottom inwards, and it's off. May take a little force and wiggling to get the bottom clips to come free.

Thanks :-) I think the 1 bar chrome grille looks so much better. I am aware of the differnce of the Distronic and non Distronic. Did your grille come with the star or did you have to put the OEM star over from the original grille?
Or did you have to order a distronic- non distronic star in addition to the grille?
