Need help deciphering VIN to identify interior color
I need to order some new floor mats for my '03 SL500. Don't want to go to the stealership and I need to give the proper color code for the interior to the online supplier that I've found. Where in th VIN is the color code for the interior?

Your interior is listed as color code 205A - Beige. The carpet color on the parts list is shown as 8J16 - Pebble.
The part number for the floor mats is A2306804140 plus the color code 8J16. However, when I look for that at several online MBZ parts dealers, it's not listed. I do find them with color code 8N49, which is also called Pebble, and is also for Beige interior, but is for color code 215A. I don't know how close a color match that will be, but it may be all you will find:
