Just wondering if anyone has ever replaced their ABC struts with Arnott refurbished struts rather than new ones from a dealer? I hope the response is positive because I just bought four of them to replace all my struts. Any feedback would be appreciated.

I've heard great things about them, cheaper alternative, though you'll need to do the rodeo test afterwards. Replacing front struts are easy, the rears might be a little tricky.

I'm new the MB diagnostic world...what is the best way to get the software to do the rodeo test? Buy the Star software and interface for $500 ish?

yes. its very difficult to diagnose things on these cars without a STAR. it will pay for itself several times over.

Appreciate that! I have the Durametric for Porsche...might as well cover the MB as well. :-)

We use Arnott ABC struts all the time. I have only had a problem with one, the plunger travel sensor wasn't working. One out of at least 100 isn't too bad
