SL/R230: Questions about 2003 Mercedes SL, R230 Tele Atlas upgrade?

Questions about 2003 Mercedes SL, R230 Tele Atlas upgrade?
If i buy the Tele Atlas Scandinavia Final Update 2013-2014 for my 2003 Mercedes SL, R230 with the original comand (DX) the CD/DVD will work or do i have to do anything to make it work? See the bottom picture for this CD/DVD
The Tele Atlas of Western Europe from 2004 that i have in my car does not work on my car since this CD/DVD is made for working with larger citys in Germany, Belgium and so on and not Scandinavia. See the top picture for this CD/DVD
If i try to see the street name close to my house not one single road shows up on the map but if i enter in Hamburg as an example all roads shows.
So to have the navigation to work i guess i will have to buy the Tele Atlas Scandinavia Final Update 2013-2014
Am i correct in this?
