I have read somewhere before on this thread or another that the amber lights in the front bumper 's sides can be covered over with body color paints or Evo sells some color matched light covers to put in there. Has anyone got pictures of these painted side marker lights or got pictures of theirs painted? I am curious as to what it looks like. I hate the amber light covers but can't find clear ones. My car guy suggested getting European spec bumper strips (the strips containing the nodes for the parktronic sensors) which doe not have the US mandated lights. But if it looks just as good sprayed over with body paint, it's a cheaper alternative. Might be cool to see at night with the faint amber glow coming from underneath the paint. Anybody else's opinion on this?

I have seen pictures of a C-Class with its side markers painted... will it do?

Hey, Shout out to Awiner and TheItalianJob.... great pics though not of the SL but still gives me an idea what it will look like. I'll ask my guy what it would take to get the lights out and paint it. Hope it's not too expensive. Thanks a bunch for helping out on this!
