Hot August Nights Road Trip

Another eventful year has come and gone bringing us back to long distance top down motoring. God (Its OK Im a minister, we’re on a first basis) I love the road with the wind in what hair I have left and the intoxicating smells in the air.
We gave up our trusty W164 to a cute gal who needed a dependable ride for travel across eastern Wa. for veterinary training at my family’s ol U
Which leads me back to our road trip. We’re stopping at Portland to buy a BMW. Then we’re off to northern Cali where we shoot southeast thru the beautiful Redwood forests and divinely twisty highways with little traffic to speak of beside the odd full throttle busts on some short straights. This is what this car was made to do best. Swallow up 1600 mi and leave a grin on your face like the first time you had sex
Did all my safety checks. Put my best Spotify on download. Reno here we come.
Anyone who is thinking about a trip should join us or do this. It’s a lot of fun. See you in Reno.
FYI Forecast for Hot August Nights is a high of 95! What women wouldn’t like to have the top down, sunshine, looking at the nicest Hot Rods ever and spend a little of their time gambling?
Have a great Summer
Hary

Drove 11hrs down the coast and even though we could’ve made all the way to Reno we decided to get a break in Macloud Ca. Was a great place. Turn of the century refurbed hotel. made it here to Reno and things are just getting going. Went to Grand Sierra and saw some stellar rides

FWIW ; BMW wasn’t that good.
I bought a very well kept Lexus GS460. They made <2000 of them total
Well the night is young and there’s plenty to do and see

Don’t be jealous Rudeney, I’m losing at the tables.
Moreover we just love how jazzed people are about sharing their dreams come to life in their cars. Kind of like Burning Man for older car lovers

I love this
