How do you manually raise the roof?
I just bought a 2005 SL500, and the roof lock cylinder leaks like a sieve. I understand I need to raise the roof manually, but I can't find any guidance on how to do so. Can anyone help?

You could download the video from YouTube and play it backwards on your PC to derive instructions on how to open the roof.
I suggest you invest $300 in a Star Diagnosis kit from aliexpress.com, since it facilitates the step of operating the side flaps. You'll need a laptop too, and a $60 Dell D630 available from eBay is suggested.
