SL/R230: Good extended warranty company needed

There are not too many reputable companies (if any) that will offer a warranty on an SL over 10 years old. Check with your dealer or indy shop - they will know the ones that are easy to work with.

I bought the extended warranty from Continental, Don't bother with these guys. They don't cover OEM parts and, according to my indie shop, are a real pain to work with, much less get paid for their labor. I just cross my fingers every day... (I know this is a crappy warranty program).

Over 10 years old is gonna make it tough to find anyone reputable. USAA sells a good warranty but the vehicle must be 10 years or less. I know this doesn't help you with your current vehicle but it may help with the next.
