For the R230, there were two facelifts. The first was for MY2005 and the most noticeable change was in the COMAND unit. For MY2009, the entire front end changed, plus the COMAND unit and a few other interior bits.

I regard the 1st facelift as being in 2006 for MY2007. Restyled front and rear bumpers and minor interior details were introduced along with major mechanical changes.
