SL/R230: Quality issues

Quality issues
Picked up my 03 SL last week....Love the car and its night and day over the 2000 SL 500 it replaced...Quality is much better than other models MB has been spitting out the last 5 years, But not perfect..Glove box will not open and the Panorama sunshade does not close.....Oh well.......minor stuff but should not be...Other than that, the car feels like a tank........The way a Benz always felt in the past.

The glovebox release cable is misadjusted, preventing the cable from traveling far enough to release the glovebox. A common minor problem on the S and CL class, and now apparently the new SL also.

None of them.....Being a good customer still placed me at the bottom of the list so I went north and bought the car from a small dealership in the northern part of Florida.....MB Ft Lauderdale will be fixing the problems on Monday when they install the V-60 phone.
