Have a small dent in the top of my 2004 R230 SL500. It is along the side rail near the edge and is very slight. Could a paintless repair person do anything with it? Is the top made of aluminum or titanium or plastic? Also what are the fenders and hood made of? I know the rear quarters and a couple of windshield surround pieces are the only things a magnet will be attracted to. I,m guessing it is mostly aluminum.

As you have found, the rear fenders and A-pillars are steel, but the rest of the body is aluminium. Paintless dent removal can still work. The tech just needs to be experienced with aluminum.
