I am in the market for an 07-08 AMG model - black or silver


I am very mechanically inclined and looking for a lower mileage car.

I am looking for potential pitfalls and things to look for:

1. I am aware of the suspension pitfalls
2. Other issues?
3. Any reason to consider a later model SLAMG63? I would go up to 2012 (prefer cockpit interior and front of 07-08)

Any input would be greatly appreciated

I would not by an SL63 prior to MY2012 due to the issues with head bolts and valve lifters.
