Replacing door handles-how about key cylinder?

My keyless Go is working except to lock both doors. They unlock fine. I have done much reading of forum threads, but do not see if when you change the door handle do you have to change the key cylinder from the old to the new?

No, the cylinder is a separate part fromt he handle.

Thanks Rodney. Now, where is the best place to come up with the handles? I see used ones on ebay but am a bit skeptical about them. I don,t care about color as I can paint them. Of course silver pewter would be great.
