NO LONGER ACTIVE
It's Teleaid/mBrace that uses the new digital cellular network. Back in 2005, the analog cellular network was sunset and everything went digital. Prior to MY2005, MBZ was still using analog cellular transceivers for Teleaid, but as of the fleet-wide MY2005 revisions, they switch to digital. I think they call it "low cost" because back then, during the transition from analog to digital, the service pricing for digital cellular was less expensive. This is because a single cell channel could hold 10 or more calls using digital compression, vs. one call for analog.
