Tail light LED replacement
New member here:
My 03 SL500 seems to have issues with the LED strands in the taillights, is defaulting to the bulbs, but the lenses are in great shape.
Is there anyone out there that supplies replacement LED strands for these taillights? Seems a shame to have to purchase the entire lens assembly for nothing more than a bad LED strand.

2005 R 230 SL350 (M112 3.7). Sold the 1966 W113 230SL recently
I asked the same question some time ago. I was then told you can actually solder in new leds, if I recall correctly with a resistor each.

Looks like I will need to break out the old soldering gun and go to work. You would think that someone out there would be in the business, especially considering how many LED light combinations are out there these days.
