SL/R230: alarm/ ignition lock

alarm/ ignition lock
2002 mercedes benz s500
i locked the door with my key fob when i got out the car and about 5 minutes later i tried to unlock the door with the key fob and it wouldn't unlock so i took the key inside the fob out and opened the door and the alarm went off. i then stuck the key fob in the ignition and it would not turn alarm continues to go off.. checked key batteries they are working fine and checked the red dot reader for the key fob and it works fine. if anyone knows this problem or how to fix it please note.

You may have a faulty electronic key, faulty ignition switch, or blown fuse interrupting power to the switch.
