Climate Control

I have a 2004 SL600. I can’t get the AC Off button to move from off. It is illuminated which means the compressor is deactivated. When I push button to activate it will blink twice and then will remain in deactivated setting (the light remains on and the compressor is off).
Has anyone had any experience with that?
Thank you.

NO LONGER ACTIVE
There is a fault preventing the AC compressor from activating. It's probably low refrigerant, but to know for sure, you need to pull code from the ACC system.

Even if it's low refrigerant, the system will need to be reset. Once the compressor deactivates, it must be reset even after refrigerant is added to reactivate.
