Have a 2004 SL600. After turning power off to Command unit it won’t power back up. Have disconnected and reconnected battery and still no luck.
Does any one have any suggestions?

Sounds like a perfect opportunity to get rid of the useless thing.

 

You stated the fuse is good. If the wiring and power connection to COMAND are good as well, then the only logical conclusion is that your COMAND has failed.

There are outstanding technical features of your existing sound system. To retain those on an '03 or '04 car I believe you must find a replacement COMAND or wire-in the amplifier from an '05 or newer car.

If you are unaware of the technical features or do not understand them, just ask.

I will give it some time to see if it magically starts working again. Looks like I will likely be looking for a used unit.

 

I will have a used Command unit available, just not sure when that will be. Still working on options for swapping out my system.
