2002 SL500

What external source/ stereo

Hi All!

Just bought a USB to 3,5mm jack to my 02 SL500, but no workey with a USB stick connected. Is it possible to make this work in some way? If not, what source would be preferred to connect to the 3,5mm jack? Music files only.

You need a media player (like a phone, ipod or similar) of some sort to play your music. You can't just plug in a USB stick with music files.

Yes, what you're trying to do is put a digital signal into an analog one. But there are kits that allow you to connect a USB input though the CD changer behind the drivers' seat, if you have one. I'm told the best way, however, is to replace the old radio and screen with a new one that already has the input.
