Welcome to the forum. Sorry for your dilemma but don't give up.
My guess without getting a proper scan would be that either one of the Cam position sensors (4) or Crank position sensor (1) has failed. When the motor cranks but does not start that usually means that one of the position sensors has failed.
Since your SL350 is not sold in the US, try posting your problem in the W211 forum as their models do have the M272 motor.

Thank you very much for the help. Today I noticed that when I put the key in and take the key out of the lock to start it, it does not make any sound, if I remember correctly, taking out the key or putting the key in the ignition lock makes a sound and unlocks the steering wheel, my car With the key removed, the steering wheel is not blocked. Could it be the immobilizer of the car that does not work? I tried the two keys and none works.
I thank you very much for your help and your effort in trying to help me. Yesterday a friend who has a Mercedes diagnosis machine came to my house, when doing a scan he told us that the crankshaft sensor failed, on Monday I will buy it and I hope that it will be the solution because I have not slept for two days thinking about the damn fault.

Don’t be so worried! You bought a fantastic car that will forever keep on asking for your attention. But it’s worth it (or at least most of us here think so).
after several sleepless nights we discovered that what was not working was the sensor number 70 (you can see it in the photo) a fellow scanned the car and gave us a fault of that sensor, I installed it and the car works perfectly, the breakdown has cost me 24 euros. tonight I can sleep well and calm without thinking about the car.
Hi. After changing the crankshaft sensor, the car works perfectly but the kilometer counts only lines, does not dial any number. We have made a diagnosis and it does not give any fault. Can somebody help me? Thank you
This has nothing to do with replacing the CPS. It looks like your cluster is having problems. The odometer value is stored both in the cluster and the EIS (ignition switch). When they don't match, you get dashes like that. You either have a bad cluster, bad EIS, or a wiring issue.
