ABC noise...normal ?
Sorry for posting here as my car is a 2018 R231 but, the R230 Forum is the place with most ABC knowledge.
My car has 14K miles.
Just noticed (maybe always present ?) noise during raising/lowering car height while stationary
Normal and even 4 corner movement when adjusting height but, sort of a "creaking" noise during the raise/lower sequence.
Be great to hear from others with ABC if they hear this noise as well .... is this normal ?
Could it be noise coming from suspension bushings, strut springs or what ?
I do love the car, love the ABC and expect to keep the car for a long time.
I have done a lot of mechanic work over time so am not intimidated to work on the ABC system but, as the car is under warranty am looking for the knowledge base here to confirm or refute what the dealer is telling me "that I'm hearing normal sounds"
So....if normal where are sounds like this coming from and if not normal any idea as to what might be wrong?
Appreciate your responses.
