Replaced autoclose trunk unit issue!?
Hi
I bought a used trunk autoclose vacuum unit as mine was leaking, fitted it and it closes the trunk great on auto soft close, however I get a dash warning telling me the trunk is open ?
I've tried pulling the fuse to see if this resets but no joy?
Does anyone know if I have to get anything reset? Are replacement units plug and play?

2005 R 230 SL350 (M112 3.7). Sold the 1966 W113 230SL recently
What happened to the one you fixed earlier this year? I fixed mine, should I be worried about brittleness all over? WIS gives gap measurements between the trunk lid and the bumper/fenders that I found pose enormous strain on the lock. Did you tighten up just until the red light in the door stays off?
