2004 R230, where is the hydraulic roof leak???
There is an obvious leak in my hydraulic system. It needs to be refilled every 3 cycles. Approximately 40ml of hydraulic fluid goes missing with each cycle. I was thinking it was the front lock, but I removed the head liner and no fluid to be found. I can't find any in the trunk either. The leak must be deep inside. There there a mystery place I should look when the obvious locations are dry? Thanks in advance

Perhaps you missed the cylinder that pushes up the trunk lid in reverse mode. It stands upright, next to your left tail lamp housing. Not to be confused with the gas spring that sits (stands, in fact) on the other side. It wears out without you noticing that the fore said cylinder has gradually been taking all the grunt.
