Leaking Schrader Valve - Fuel Rail

Hello,

I noticed fuel was leaking out of the fuel rail schrader valve when I got home last night., (cap was also missing) Dealer has to order the kit and can take days to get. Does anyone know if a kit for AC Delco or Chrysler/GM kit will work. I can't imagine Mercedes using a different spec schrader valve. I found some kits online and may be available for pick up. The leak has gotten worse overnight because the check engine light has come on and number one cylinder is misfiring. Valve is right at cylinder number one and can see how a loss of pressure can effect it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Do yourself a favour, park the car!
I wouldn’t take a chance starting it at all. The leak is just north of the exhaust manifold.
Wait for the MB part and you will have no problem. And look at it from the positive side, now you got time to detail the car.

Problem solved....for now. I was able to find my tire schrader valve tool and was able to tighten the valve! It was just loose. Zero leaks now. Of course I will replace it with the new one enroute and new cap to protect it on Monday.

SOLVED .

15$ at local auto zone . Schrader tool with 2 cores . Remove old core and insert the new . No more leaks 👍🏻
