Red battery light no start
2005 sl500
Last night red battery light and no start.
Jump started and drove home 50 miles
On trickle charge all night
Charger said full this morning ..measured 13.07 v
Red light no start
Now reads 12.95
ideas ?

You have to clarify what you mean by "no start"; i.e., does the starter motor spin?

I presume you are reading the voltage on the rear battery. More important is the voltage on the front battery.

after 1 hr sitting votes =12.8

I presume you hear the starter solenoid pull in. If so, then read the voltage on the starter battery at this moment with the aid of a second person or Star Diagnosis.

NO LONGER ACTIVE
The red battery warming would relate to relate to the consumer (rear) battery. Try charging it.
