parking sensor
hello, I changed the bumper of my 2005 sl for a rear bumper of sl63. The installation has been to remove the original and install the bumper of Mercedes SL63. the problem I have is that the bumper is from a donor car, when installing the bumper the parking sensors do not work, inside the vehicle on the screen the two red lines on the sensor screen remain on for 10 seconds and after that time the screen turns off and the sensors stop working. Could it be that the problem is a broken sensor? How can I know which sensor is broken? thanks

You can test parkings sensors like this:
Ohms might be different from one model to another but if you test all you will find the failing
Keep in mind that there are calibration settings in Xentry/DAS
not that you need that but just know that calibration distance settings are there also
There are many choices for DAS/Xentry Diagnostics for MB.
Ensure you have the right information before getting one. There is too much misleading info.

I replied to your PM, Ivan. The choice of Star Diagnosis System fundamentally begins with deciding whether or not one that will work only with cars c. 2014 and older will suffice.

A basic system will work on all models through c. 2014. You have to first decide if that meets your needs, or do you wish to pay a $100-$150 premium for a system that works with newer cars as well. You also have to decide whether you will buy a Dell D630 laptop from eBay for $50 to run the software or use a PC of your choosing. Once this is known to me, I can suggest search parameters for locating what you seek on aliexpress.com.
I've just learned of a new option for Mercedes diagnostics: a Foxwell NT510 Elite. A member on this thread has one and has used it to perform in-depth diagnostics of his ABC system. This remarkable $130 device may closely rival Star Diagnosis in its capabilities and is something I want to learn more about.
