SL/R230: CL Class wheels on a SL550
As far as I know, the SL offset is 30 in front and 35 in the rear. Can these wheels be adapted using spacers, or is the difference too much, and I would have vibration or interference issues.

Replaced factory AMG wheels with these:

Because of the 44mm offset of the wheels, I needed a 15MM spacer for the front and back. Could have gone 20mm for the rear but 15mm to me is just perfect. For the front spacers and rear spacers you want to get H&R- nothing else- our front hubs have a lip and the hubs you see of amazon/ebay will NOT fit our cars- you will need a spacer for the front that looks like like this:

DO NOT BUY SPACERS FOR THE FRONT THAT LOOK LIKE THIS..THEY WILL NOT FIT PROPERLY OVER THE BORE:

About $200 for all 4 on amazon - google the part # and find the best deal once you decide on which size spacer to go with
Oh yea- I went with 60MM shank lug bolts- make sure you measure correctly- a bolt thats to long will hit your ebrake in the rear and you will hear a ticking noise when driving- not to mention end up doing damage
