relax, or not, depending on your age
But there is still the possibility, that my c3 is fine and the problem lies within my car. I think I will try to go that rout first.
Right now I am waiting for my new regulator to arrive. I took the old one out already. Fun fact: It is from late 2004, whereas the alternator is 2002, like the car. So somebody already had changed that once.
At the same time I am swapping one of the coolant hoeses going to the heaterpump. Changing the coolant, while I'm at it. Any tips on how to bleed the air out later?
To even beeing able to do that I had to solder a wire across all middle pins of those relais. Because it is quite difficult to hold and position four pins at once.
The problem wasn't the C3, ist was one of two blown fuses inside the motor compartment.
I ran the quick test for the first time since I own the car. Sadly it found a problem I was not aware of yet. The LWR on the left side is showing several faults. Both height sensors seem to have unplausible values and the motor to adjust the light height is not connected or defective.
Oh, And the airbag-controller is not communicating, too. Dang!
On the positive side: I swapped the voltage regulator today. No more overvoltage.
