@pmercury I really appreciate you providing the history on VINs, this is something I would really like to have for my car(s) (I don't live near a dealer, and even when I have had my cars at a dealer they don't want to provide that much printed detail). I presume that it does take you some time and effort or some investment on your part, and you are kind to share that. That's sincere encouragement.
However, something about you offering this for a limited number of people as a shootout, and then offering to do more if you get 50 likes seems wrong to me. I'm not trying to start an argument with you or trying to get you to stop, but I do question your real motivation in offering this info.
I hope you will continue to contribute to the forum constructively regardless of whether or not someone gives you a "Like".

It's only a sort of reminder, that's why I used the word "somewhere" I am always very disappointed about the fact that people never use likes
of course its not about likes in numbers, but I would appreciate a little more people not just run with the info when they got what they want
