New 3" exhaust project

4" exhaust tips.



Simons mufflers. Center Muffler acts as x pipe.



Catalytic converters from an SL55, with 50% more throughput. Decat is heavy fined in our country.



Welds don't get any better than that. Total number of welds, 66. 8 hours of welding. 20 hours of fitting/cutting, together.



Old exhaust, shown with 3" pipes, and box with left overs, from manufacturing.



No comment needed, I believe.

The sound track is recorded with my phone, and don't give the exhaust note credit. It's more grumpy and loud than the record may suggest.

SL 350 R230 (3.7L with AMG Speedshift autobox)
nice work, I know how invigorating the sound is ! Do you find it a bit loud thouhg on on long highway journeys at 70mph+? I went for bi-pass valves for this reason to close off the noise at speed.
