Installed Powerstop Z26 Carbon-Ceramic Pads
Just wanted to share some feedback because there seems to be apprehension about using non-OEM pads on the R230, I installed the Powerstop Z26 Street Warrior Carbon-Ceramic pads front and rear on my SL63 this weekend. I did not replace my rotors because they were in excellent condition (and are stupid expensive). Bedded the pads per Powerstop instructions and they are excellent so far, nice firm pedal without any noise or vibration and good progressive bite. If they work as good as OEM and reduce the brake dust I'll be a happy camper, I'll update after more driving to compare the dust.
