I would not expect to hear a tinny sound if a baffle were loose. I would expect to hear the sound of gasoline sloshing around in the tank and the sound of the baffle bumping into the sides of the tank. The issue of the loose baffle was widely discussed six years ago on another forum. If you send me a PM, I can identify that forum.
