Passenger seat shakes rapidly at moderate speeds

Hello, I have had my SL65 AMG for some time and always noticed the passenger seat shake at moderate speeds (50+ mph). Is this a common issue or perhaps I have a mounting bracket that is loose on the seat?

I have had the car for 1.5 years it is just one of those things that drives me crazy. I usually do not have a passenger in the car but it happens if someone is seated as well. Is this common or am I alone in this and do any of you have a suggestion on what to check?

I seem to have a similar vibration at 60mph+. Passenger seat and rear view mirror shake and you can feel the vibration in the floor board. I've got all new mounts, new tires freshly balanced, new brake pads/rotors, and new driveshaft flex discs and still haven't solved it.

I was thinking it could be the engine mounts for me. Definitely frustrating and when you notice even slight noises having the seat shake crazily is a bit unnerving while trying to appreciate the drive.

Even though tires look to be in good shape and they have been balanced, it is very likely the vibration is the result of a problem in one or more tire/wheel assemblies. There are many different type wheel balancers, most only as good as the operator and limited in what they can do, but there is only one balance system that can measure road force and match the tire position to the rim to achieve the optimal road force and balance with minimum amount of weights. This machine can also measure wheel runout and match tire position to get the best tire/wheel outcome. Search “Hunter road force balancer” to get further details and find a location near you that has this balance system. You won’t regret it

All 4 of mine are brand new and balanced out perfectly on a Hunter machine. The road force values were very low for every tire.

Thank you Ray. I suspect it could be a balance issue on my vehicle because my car has negative camber. Previous owner bought oversized wheels which look great and fit into the wheel wells but unless I go with a widebody kit they will never sit with neutral camber. That is likely the cause... Thank you for your responses.

Camber doesn't cause wheel imbalances or vibrations.
