2004 SL55
Johnson CM30

Good Morning,

I have a 2004 Sl55 amg with an 80mm VRP pulley and ECU tune. I purchased a Johnson CM30 pump a few years ago but never got to installing it.

Is there a way to test the pump and make sure it works? Is there a DIY on installation anywhere? I have lost the brackets that come with it. Any alternatives?

I live in Cleveland OH.

if its new it should work ok, you could fit hoses to intake end, and use 12 volt batteri, plus and minus with bucket of water, make shure spray some water up the hose first.
Old pump,if have the stock, is much thicker, modify the old bracket ,should not be big deal.

I have the CM30 pump for 10 years and still works very well even in Hot summer.
