OBD reader on 2002 SL500 R230?
Can we plug in an OBD reader on a 2002 SL500? I know a repair technician can plug in a modern XITRIX device. But can we as well??
And where can plug in, and install a blue tooth sender/emitter as well? would be cool to link to a tablet with a popular app like TORQUE !

Yes you can plug devices into OBD located in driver footwell next to hood release. Door covers connection port. Simply pull down on door it will open and stay on hinge. Plug into port.

A regular OBD-II reader will read basic stuff that is not MB specific - engine codes, transmission issues, maybe airbag stuff. TORQUE app should work, i'd read the compatibility on the app itself first.

yes torque has that functions this was my final choice just to read and delete nothing else
problem with the android apps that I all tested, they are most don't work correctly (carly mercedes is really junk for many models)
