SL/R230: Won't unlock, top won't go down, Consumer Battery warning

Won't unlock, top won't go down, Consumer Battery warning
So I know this has been discussed before, but I am hoping to get some specific direction of what I need to replace.
Symptoms:
1. Car will not unlock using FOB...yes batteries are good and the Panic works fine
2. Fuel door is locked
3. AC fan only goes to half speed
4. Top will not retract
5. Consumer battery warning is on...new battery and I even charged it to be sure.
6. Driving down the highway today...two times the Consumer battery warning light came off and the fan went to high speed...then warning came on and fan went back to half speed.
7. Manual open door switch doesn't open the doors.
Any suggestions?

You need to put find a voltmeter and see if your rear battery is being charged or not. Everything in this car is ran off of that, if your consumer battery isn't being charged it will discharge itself after driving for a bit. It could also be your battery control module as well, i had mine go bad that kept saying consumer battery offline and eventually it shorted and melted, causing my whole car to stink like chemical smell for ever.

Fuse 71 on an early car is for the PSE pump. Members have written some recent posts about replacing the impeller to restore functionality to pumps which blow their fuse.
