SL/R230: Rear Toe Adjustment
This is a strutmaster car

The easiest way to adjust these is to remove the mufflers. It's only one clamp and a rubber donut to slide off. Attempting to wedge the exhaust down and mess around is asking for trouble.
Google the E55 rear toe adjustment and you will find the same parts that the SL has. No parts required for toe, only if you need to adjust camber, then shell out some bucks.
I removed my mufflers, then found the bolt(s). Loosened the clamping bolt, and the adjuster arm went 'twang' and moved a fraction, and the toe was pretty close to spec.
Tightened it up, put the muffler back on, and it's at least in spec, but still needs an 'official' alignment. You can get things pretty close yourself with a couple strings and a level.
I bought adjustment arms for camber and dialed my rear back to -0.5, which helps wear, but makes handling a little twitchy and nervous.
I don't have pictures...you never think to take any while doing the work :/
