07-08 ABC hose on SL65

Can anyone tell me when they started rerouting the dreaded abc hose that requires dropping the subframe or pulling the motor. Was it for the 07 year or 08 year on the SL65? I'm not having any issues now but mileage is 87k. I've already seen the repair videos. Was thinking of changing all the components this winter. Mine is an 07

Gotta lift the car up to check, but i have a 2009 the dreaded hose is not routed under the trans tunnel, it only take minutes to change not days. I hope they changed it in 2007 because i'm thinking of picking up a 55 for f un

Not sure which hose this is but there is a high pressure ABC hose that ripped on my 07 55 and previous owner had it replaced for $1200.

2007 have the upgraded pump with mutch better system, pulsator damper sit on pump on those , less stress for rest of system ,with less pressure pulses in the system . hoses i dont know, not looked in to that. The stuff you add now, will also keep the rubber in hoses nice and soft, less likly that they will crack later.

But still seen 2007 sl55 leak in back struit , even both in back ,was easy fix , not my 07 , so treatment i would say is due on all off them , just have new ABC oil ,does not take enough care of the rubber in system as we want.

Based on the remarkable number of pump failures on later cars which I've read about, if anything cars from MY2006 and later have a weaker pump. That would comport with how a primary objective of the revised ABC introduced in the spring of 2006 seems to have reducing manufacturing costs.

The pulsation dampener on later cars is located on the pump at least in part due to necessity. It had been located on the pressure supply valve block, but that block was eliminated. I have no insight as to whether the pump is a better location with respect to reducing pressure pulses, but if the older setup were relatively deficient in this regard, then the hose from the pump to the pressure supply valve block would vibrate, yet it does not.
