SL 500 Exhaust efficiency project
Guys,
Need some advice on my (renewed) attempt to improve both the power and efficiency of my M113 engine in my SL500. Am looking for reasonably priced headers - either long or short tube versions . removing cats and nice somewhat throaty mufflers .
The car has only 9400 miles on it and the exhaust has never been touched .. Although it now has SL55 shocks, Quaife LSD, BLS 19" rims, some small AMG improvements and rally tires along with all new roof cylinders plus regular ALL FLUID on time services..
I am the original owner and a maintenance / improvement nut ..
If any of you has done this complete overhaul.. PLEASE share what you did and how it worked out .My goal also included reliability along with the stated performance
