I have a 2002 SL500 where the heater control cluster has no power. There is a power on/ off switch that does nothing. I can’t find a fuse that controls it. Can anyone give me the fuse number and location just in case I’m missing something. Could it be a relay.

The fuse for the climate control is in the main fuse box located under the hood. If looking at the row of fuses while standing at the front bumper, the relevant fuse is the 5th one. It should be 10 A. There are no relays.

Hi, checked all the fuses and none are blown. There wasn’t a fuse in number 5 so tried fitting one and no change

You may find the electrical schematics helpful. They are for North American cars, but there may be few if any differences with U.K. models. Link: R230 ETM 64. Windows should give you a warning message about unknown content, since I put together the package of schematics myself.
