Hey everyone so I purchased some mods for my sl55,
Bc racing coilovers
80mm clutched pulley
RACE IQ tune
PLM XL heat exchanger
and last but not least I purchased FTP e55 LTH and plan to have them customized to fit my sl55
now I have heard it has been done a couple times to r230 and Cl55’s with slight mods to the headers and making sure it doesn’t hit the steering rack. Anyone can chime in on this? I’m real excited to get this done and hopefully be able to help more Sl55’s get LTH without spending a fortune

again. It hasnt been done on SL because they straight up dont fit. It can be done on S and CL. NOT on SL. The headers will hang down probably 6+ inches below the bottom of the car. This means a shop "customize them" is going to have to cut all 4 runners and basically build a header from scratch. With a CL it is also like building a completely new header, Steering runs right through where the longtubes run. We did 2 custom sets for local customers when we were in VA. It was labor intensive.

As soon as the headers are in I will take them to my exhaust shop who was a former Lamborghini employee. If he can not get them to fit I will sell them and purchase vrp’s set
