NEED HELP, Car went into neutral humming noise when put in park
Hello to all, so I was driving on neighborhood street going 40mph, slowed down, but saw wrong turn then accelerated, then car went into neutral, I had enough roll to get on side of road, so when I put car in drive or reverse no movement, but when I put the car in park it makes a humming noise. So I got car towed to house pulled codes today got codes P0730 and P0221 I attached pictures of codes and a small video clip, like I said the humming noise goes away when I put car in in D, N, R. But in park it makes it automatically without even touching gas. Any suggestion or help is greatly appreciated, and I already tried the Adaptive learning process with the pedal, sorry it won't let me upload video.. Smh

“incorrect gear ratio” error showed up when the transmission on my 07SL550 broke down. Before that, I experienced heavy kicks during shifting, especially while slowing down going off the freeway. When the transmission was opened, lots of shaving was present un the oil pan, and the oil was almost black. Having that experience, I would find a place to open the transmission and take a quick look.

No everything was running fine no symptoms at all, just went into neutral just going 40mph if that, I'm thinking the tcu just went in to neutral, and when I put gear selector in park it's making a humming sound like the sound when you put car in wrong gear or switch quick, but goes away when I turn car off, so we're thinking the car isn't registereing the right gear, and not engaging on valvebody, gonna open it up tomorrow.
