heat shield material
Good Evening All,
I am looking for the heat shielding that goes under the actual heat shield on my 2003 SL55 AMG.. It looks like a jute type material with a heavy foil on it. It goes under the heat shield to protect the suspension tubes from the excessive exhaust heat.
I have looked in the EPC and can't find anything except the actual heat shield.
I have found some material online that looks like it will wirk. Just wanted to see if anyone had experience with this.
Any help would be great.
