Xisedo head unit for 07 SL550
Hello. Just graduated from an 02 SL500 to an 07 SL550. Great car but not to thrilled with the sound system. I eant to upgrade to a unit that utilizes the rear speaker regardless of what source is running. I'm looking at the Xisedo unit. Of course it's Chinese and I tried to ask them if their unit played back to the rear speakers but i never got a clear answer. Dont think they understood what I was asking or they weren't familiar with the stock SL sound system. Their unit has a fade feature so i think it will play from the rear speaker but i want to know for sure before i drop $650 on a Chinese head unit. Has anyone used the Xisedo unit and does it play from the rear speaker? Also, how do you like the unit overall? Lastly, are there any other aftermarket units that play from the rear speaker. It is right in front of the roll bar. Back in the day there was an audio format that used like 7 channels on a CD or something. I think it was called Logic 7. If you have music in that format that system supposedly plays great surround sound, butvitvdoesnt use the rear speaker with any other audio source. Obviously that format never really caught on so we have a speaker that never gets used. Now I'm thinking that a head unit with a fader feature would use that speaker, but I want to be sure before I drop $650 on a new head unit.
